A member of the illusionist trio Safronov Brothers was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma two years ago. Sergei admitted that he did not suspect a serious illness and felt fine. The diagnosis was made during a routine medical examination.

The artist hid the disease from fans for a long time. His wife Ekaterina, older brother Ilya, twin brother Andrei and other relatives supported him all the time. Only when the doctors could please Safron with good news, he told his fans about oncology.

“Thank you so much for your support. Treatment with radiation and chemotherapy has ended. Everything is alright. My brothers and I are fruitfully working on a new show, on new projects,” Sergey said.

Now the illusionist is in remission and on tour with his brothers. Before the performance in Smolensk, the former host of the show “The Battle of Psychics” visited local holy places.

For the first time in a long time, the artist appeared without a head covering and demonstrated his growing hair. The illusionist went to work with his head. She is taking singing lessons for a new project. And recently, the Safronov brothers received a second certificate from the Russian Book of Records for their new show, in which professional stuntmen participated along with them. Safronov has a 12-year-old daughter Alina and an 11-year-old son Vladimir from his first wife Maria. He maintained friendly relations with her after the divorce. With his second wife, Ekaterina, Sergey is raising a four-year-old daughter, Alice.
