The former American actress is said to be on the verge of a lucrative deal with the French fashion house Dior. In the under-received crime drama about gang warfare, she plays model Kirsten who dates graffiti artist Dee, played by Greg Sulkin.
In the story, Dee’s brother Marcus, played by Josh Myers, is a diamond thief involved in a series of daring armed robberies. While Dee and Kirsten have an opportunity to improve their lives when the art scene takes notice of his work, Marcus goes in a different direction and ignites a deadly gang war.
The video showed the future royal, dressed in a seductive lace dress in the color of passion, being shot from different angles in the perfume ad. The episode was brought to light following reports of a potential deal for the Duchess with a brand known for its expensive fragrances. “The conversations between the Duchess of Sussex and Christian Dior are a sign that she has realized that it is easier to be a tailor than a problem fighter,” says the insider.
Prince Harry is very likely to be part of the deal – the French fashion house reportedly needs royals to promote its menswear. The disgraced son of the British king has already started working actively for the brand. Last year, he appeared in a Christian Dior suit at an event at the United Nations.
The Duke of Sussex also wore the brand’s gray model to the coronation of Charles III in May. He wore a $1,000 Dior “Bee” shirt during a recent appearance at London’s High Court in a tabloid case. “It shows that they have a lot of power in fashion and fashion houses want to see them,” the Daily Mail quoted marketing expert Mark Borkowski as saying.
Meghan wore a white Dior outfit when she attended the State Service of Thanksgiving at St Paul’s Cathedral last June to celebrate Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee. Prince Harry’s wife wore the brand to the Queen’s funeral, Archie’s christening and other high-profile events, and on royal tours as far as Megzit.
