The star delivered stunning sets as part of her highly anticipated Renaissance World Tour. The day before, she attended a Sunday night show in Amsterdam. Beyoncé admitted that fashion designer Bob Mackey was a big influence on the design of her outfits. According to her words, the pop diva was inspired by the fashion of the disco era that reigned in Studio 54 in the 70s and 80s.

The singer posed in a bright pink dress in the shade of strawberry bubblegum. The outfit, with a frank neckline that barely limited the artist’s magnificent bust, and deep necklines on the hips, emphasized Beyoncé’s sexy figure. Shimmering sequins gave it an extra touch of glamour. The image was completed by theater gloves also in Barbie color and silver stilettos. Taking to the stage, the 28-time Grammy winner draped a darker tiered coat with shiny faux fur over her shoulders.
“I started designing this collection over a year ago. I was so into everything renaissance and was inspired by Studio 54, Bob Mackie and the disco era,” said Beyoncé.
The former R&B lead singer of Destiny’s Child said she decided to update her style with the help of Mackie, who has dressed stars such as Cher, Carol Burnett, Doris Day, Lucille Ball, Judy Garland and Liza Minnelli, the Daily Mail reports.
“I wanted to give it a modern look with signature neon and bring a disco feel to the beach. I’m so excited to share it with you and even more proud to represent them on the world tour for the first time.”
Beyoncé also stated that without exception, all the outfits she wears on her tour are created by black designers. True, the pop princess was immediately reproached for not naming a single fashion designer who worked on her intricate outfits, each of which always caused a stir at concerts. Earlier, the star brought her daughter Blue Ivy to the stage.
