Paparazzi are used to seeing the 48-year-old Hollywood hunk in the company of young models. However, Leo took a break from dating girls and devoted time to those closest to him. DiCaprio was joined by his 79-year-old father George and stepmother Peggy Farrar. They were accompanied by the artist’s niece Normandie. They all sunbathe together on a luxury yacht on the Amalfi Coast.
The Django Unchained actor took off his shirt and remained in blue shorts. He had the foresight to remove the gold chain from his neck as well before jumping from the ship into the sea. The group then left their yacht and went on an excursion to Capri’s famous Blue Grotto sea cave.

Leonardo has a very close relationship with his father. George separated from the actor’s mother shortly after his birth and two decades later, in 1995, he married Peggy Farrar. DiCaprio Sr. tried to make money when he had a son. George found work as an asbestos and fireproof roofer before striking out on his own and starting a waterbed business called Foggy Bottom.
The man has also established himself as one of the leading figures in the underground comics scene – as a writer, editor and distributor. He managed all this even before Leo started his film career.
The elder DiCaprio recently landed a small role in Paul Thomas Anderson’s comedy Licorice Pizza. He played a wig shop owner and waterbed salesman who convinced the film’s protagonist to start his own business.
A few days before his family vacation, Leo was spotted with 28-year-old Gigi Hadid. The supermodel and the Oscar-winning actor hung out in London. The couple’s romance is said to have collapsed in February. Nevertheless, they were seen together several times in May. DiCaprio also met his close friend, model Irina Shayk. The two were at Naomi Campbell’s birthday bash at the Cannes Film Festival earlier this month, the Daily Mail reports.
