Buy this convertible? Then you get 2950 euros from the state
New cars are so expensive! Especially if they’re fun. But luckily, Abarth provides a very small ray of hope in the darkness. The electric 500e is expensive, we have to admit, but not so expensive that you don’t get a subsidy for it.
Sorry, we’re going to repeat that sentence without the double negative. If you buy an electric Abarth 500e – as a hatchback or as a cabriolet – the state will give you a subsidy of 2950 euros.
For 3000 euros you get the convertible
The Fiat 500e Cabrio might also be eligible for a subsidy, but of course the Abarth version is just a tad more attractive. It is available from 38,490 euros. For 3000 euros extra you get the open version.
Beautifully and sportily styled, the Abarth comes standard on 17-inch alloy wheels. If you really want a size larger, you should go for the 500e Turismo, which is available from 42,490 euros.
Abarth 500e is 155 hp and 235 Nm strong
Well, one shouldn’t think that the Abarth 500e is a toxic guy, because with its output of 155 HP and 235 Nm of torque it keeps itself quite modest. After all, the Fiat 500e already has 118 hp and 200 Nm.
The sprint to 100 km/h takes about 7 seconds. And if you don’t try that too often, you should approach the official range: 265 kilometers. The Abarth can be charged with up to 85 kW.
