Jeep Avenger is the Car of the Year 2023!
Word has gotten around: The Jeep Avenger is Car of the Year 2023. The American brand’s very first all-electric car has just won the award.
This all happened at the Brussels Motor Show, which is taking place right now. The Jeep Avenger stopped with the Peugeot 408, Toyota bZ4X/Subaru Solterra, Nissan Ariya, Renault Austral, Volkswagen ID. Buzz and Kia Niro behind them.
Opel Mocha
This means that an electric car wins again, although the Jeep Avenger will also come onto the market with a combustion engine at some point. The model shares its technology with cars like the Peugeot 2008 and the Opel Mokka. They are available with fully electric drive and with petrol and diesel engines.
Is the Jeep Avenger just one of many cars from the Stellantis range that differ only in design and dimensions? Not quite, because Jeep has made sure that the Avenger can really bear the Jeep name. For example, it has a higher ground clearance than its technical brothers and has off-road modes developed by Jeep. That should make him more efficient on the field.

The Avenger also uses the updated powertrain that Stellantis is adding to its products starting this year. The battery pack measures 54 kWh, good for a range of 400 kilometers according to WLTP. The electric motor delivers 156 hp and 260 Nm. Improved numbers over the previous powertrain. The mega-corporation’s first generation of electric cars had to make do with 50 kWh and 136 hp. The Avenger can also fast charge with a maximum of 100 kW.
In the Netherlands, the Avenger is currently available from 40,500 euros. This applies to the 1st Edition, which is richly equipped as standard. Cheaper versions will appear later. Do you want to know everything about the prices of the compact electric jeep? Then read on in the following article.
