See: BMW M3 drifts for over a kilometer on a Dutch highway
We came across one while scrolling through Instagram Kitchen sink which surprises us. In the video we see a BMW M3 drifting on the Dutch highway for more than a mile.
The video was posted on the social media platform a week ago by the street pirate himself. He drives – or rather pushes – an E92 M3. The uploader who is on Instagram snaexl Mentions appear to be possibly only 21 years old based on his profile description.
BMW M3 drifts over a kilometer on a Dutch highway
The Drifter captioned the video: “This has to be one of the longest Road drifts are in this app.” He himself claims that the entire slide on the Dutch highway lasted no less than 1.15 kilometers.
From the pictures it can be concluded that this is the Ewijk junction, where you turn from the A50 onto the A73. This is near the German border. Although the license plate has been obscured, it is most likely a German car.
M2 as a film car and on-board pictures
To film the stunt, someone drives behind the BMW M3 in an M2. “My paint was damaged after it hit the side of the road,” he jokingly replies under the video. In another Kitchen sink We see the onboard images of the drift in question on the Dutch highway.
Opinions about the campaign are divided. So someone replied: “Believe me, if you can drift that far, you know your car inside and out.” Another said: “Let’s take away his driver’s license.” Even though it’s wet, we don’t see another one in the video Traffic (except his companion in the M2). However, this does not change the fact that this high-speed drift of this BMW M3 is a dangerous action. It’s better not to go wrong on a wet highway, as this Honda S2000 has proven before.
Article 5
Based solely on Article 5 of the Highway Code, the officer is happy to speak to the BMW M3 driver about his behavior on the Dutch motorway. Because Article 5 states: “Everyone is prohibited from behaving in such a way that a danger arises or may arise on the road or that traffic on the road is or may be obstructed.”
