Because of this feature, the Tesla Cybertruck seems perfect for Dutch people
It doesn’t look like we’ll see the Tesla Cybertruck in its current form on the European road network yet. It’s a shame, because Elon Musk’s electric pickup truck turns out to be perfect for the typical Dutchman.
The Tesla Cybertruck keeps people on their toes. Some people think it’s a monstrosity, others think it’s a refreshing piece of design. Read here the impressive opinion of the designer of, among other things, the BMW M1 and the first Volkswagen Golf.
Is the Tesla Cybertruck coming to the Netherlands?
Critics find the design childish and are unhappy with the build quality of this matte black example spotted on the road. According to Elon Musk himself, the Tesla Cybertruck does not comply with all EU regulations (think pedestrian safety) and therefore there is little chance that in its current form it will pollute/beautify (delete as appropriate) the Dutch streetscape.
However, the Tesla CEO has spoken of a modified version for international markets in the past. That would be smaller, but according to Elon Musk at least as “cool”. Hopefully the trunk of the Tesla Cybertruck will remain unchanged. This turns out to be perfect for the stereotypical Dutchman.
Bike transport with your Elon Musk electric car
Another cybertruck was spotted on public roads. This time, however, four bicycles were cleverly stuffed into the loading area. While there are more pickup trucks that can do this, there are currently few other electric cars that can easily carry four bikes. The disadvantage is that the front wheels (and the protective mat) block the Tesla Cybertruck’s third brake light. Uncle Officer won’t be happy about this.
