As you might have guessed, it’s one of Jaguar’s continuation models. These are replicas of legendary models from the brand’s past. The cars are completely rebuilt according to the original specifications. Continuation models of the E-Type Lightweight, XKSS and D-Type have already appeared. Now it’s the C-Type’s turn.
Jaguar announced the arrival of the C-Type Continuation back in early 2021 and production started later that year. However, there are two reasons why we are now bringing attention to the Jaguar C-Type Continuation again.
Jaguar C-Type Continuation 70 Edition
One of those reasons is that the Jaguar C-Type Continuation is now also available as a 70 Edition. Although the C-Type debuted in 1951, the special edition commemorates the model’s 70th birthday, specifically its success in the 24 Hours of Le Mans. The 70s edition is all about the special color scheme.
The silver-colored specimen symbolizes the platinum anniversary of the Le Mans victory on its debut in 1951. The green specimen’s colors refer to the example that won Le Mans in 1953. Interested? Then you’ll have to be quick and lucky because these are the only two 70 Editions that will be built.
Robust price tag
You definitely have to save on such a Jaguar C-Type Continuation. The price of a “normal” C-Type sequel is currently the equivalent of more than 1.7 million euros. Everything is relative: compared to an original C-Type, this amount is still a bargain.

Exterior trim Jaguar C-Type continued
There are no fewer than twelve body colors to choose from for the exterior. In addition to the usual black, white and gray tones, there are red, two blue tones and two green tones to choose from. One of them is of course British Racing Green. In addition, you can also opt for the less obvious shades of cream and bronze. Bronze and the darker shade of blue are metallic colors. Actually, any color looks good on the car, but we still choose British Racing Green.
You can leave the body plain, but you can also put the white circles where the race number used to be. You can choose from Star White, Old British White or Off White. You must add a bib number yourself. As a final exterior option, you can place the classic Jaguar logo above the grille.
Interior decoration Jaguar C-Type continuation
In the interior, you choose the color of the seat covers. Based on the body color chosen, Jaguar itself makes a suggestion for the most suitable colour. In our case, this is the upholstery color green. You can also choose from a slightly softer shade of green, black, dark red or blue, dark brown, a kind of grey-blue and the color biscuit, light brown. Beautiful and stubborn against Jaguar’s advice, that’s the color we choose.
As a final option, you can choose whether or not you want a classic Jaguar logo on the steering wheel, but that depends on the choice of grille logo.
