The Dutch government is selling an almost new Porsche 911
Every year the government confiscates cars for many reasons. These used and old company vehicles are then sold by the Ministry of Finance. Autovisie shows exactly how this works in this report. This time a particularly beautiful sports car is for sale: a Porsche 911 Carrera T.
You can bid on the car on the government website. If you bid the highest amount, you can pick up the car. This amount is not the amount you will ultimately have to pay for your new car. A buyer’s premium of 15 percent will be added to your bid.
Porsche 911 Carrera T
A Porsche 911 is on the wish list of many car lovers. They are beautiful, sound good and drive very well everywhere. Even if you don’t have the top version like this Carrera T.
The Carrera T is positioned between the Carrera and the Carrera S and has a biturbo six-cylinder boxer with 385 hp and 450 Nm of torque. The model does not have a back seat, but has foldable seats. Together with the lower sound insulation, the car saves 35 kilograms compared to the 911 Carrera.
This 911 does not always have an eight-speed PDK dual-clutch transmission; a manual transmission is also available. However, the previous state owner of the Porsche 911 Carrera T did not opt for this. With the automatic transmission, the Porsche sprints from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in 4.2 seconds.
Almost new used car
The Porsche 911 Carrera T for sale by the government was originally delivered in the Netherlands and went on sale in May 2023. It was therefore quickly confiscated. The boxer engine only has 2,164 kilometers of experience. In short, it’s almost new! Perhaps this is the lowest risk purchase ever at Domeinen Roerende Zaken.
