BMW makes the iX1 cheaper, but you have to sacrifice something for that
BMW is making the all-electric iX1 significantly cheaper. No, this is not another price reduction. The German manufacturer expands the range of engines.
The X1 is currently available with nine engines, one of which is electric: the iX1 xDrive 30. For 55,127 euros you get an all-wheel drive with 313 hp and a range of 439 kilometers.
BMW iX1 cheaper
The BMW that has just been added to the model range is therefore cheaper than the iX1 that we are now familiar with. The exact price of the brand is not yet known. BMW communicates the specifications of the new powertrain.
specifications
The BMW iX1 eDrive 20 has an electric motor that can deliver up to 204 hp and 247 Nm of torque at times. With this power, the electric car sprints from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in 8.6 seconds. The top speed is limited to 170 kilometers per hour.
On the underside is the same 64.7 kWh battery as in the iX1 xDrive 30. The cheaper electric vehicle thus has a range of between 430 and 475 kilometers according to WLTP. The battery pack can be charged at the public charging station with 11 kW (optionally 22 kW) and at the fast charger with 130 kW.
