A horrific crime took place in Baden-Württemberg, Germany, during the Pentecost weekend. As reported by “Bild”, a pharmacist (56) killed her two children, Pauline (13) and Rolf (17).
The bloody act is said to have taken place in Schwieberdingen, a village of 11,000 inhabitants in the Ludwigsburg district.
Actually, the Sunday in question had started quite normally, the message reports. Gaby, the mother of the two youngsters, is said to have returned the leaf blower to a neighbor. A few hours later there was a double murder.
“According to the current state of the investigation, it can be assumed that both children were killed by their mother in the shared apartment between Sunday evening and Monday morning,” said the police and the OM.
After the crime, the mother drove to the neighboring town of Korntal-Münchingen and took her own life, the newspaper continues.
The shock penetrates deep into the village. As a neighbor of the “Bild” says, it is possible that everything was too much for the mother: “Gaby’s husband died of cancer three years ago. Since then, she has had to take care of the children and the 15-hectare property on her own.”
It is still difficult for the neighbors to understand that the two young people had to die. “We are all in shock. The poor children! Pauline liked horseback riding and was smart, just like her brother Rolf. We can’t explain it,” the neighbor told the newspaper. Police say the background to the crime is still unclear. (dzc)
