He just wanted to help and paid with his death. A family man in the US was hit by a car and fatally injured after helping a family of ducks cross the street. The tragic incident occurred in the town of Rocklin, California just after 8 p.m. on Thursday.

William Wimsatt (12) was also on his way at that time. He and his mother witnessed the animal-loving action. The 12-year-old took out his mobile phone and snapped a picture.
