They didn’t want to wait any longer and got to work. Police in Erfurt, in the German state of Thuringia, had to end a couple’s quickie just before a red light. Officers were out on Friday when they saw a car with fogged windows parked at a traffic light for a long time.
“The officials decided to do the right thing and surprised the two loving car occupants, who were visibly embarrassed by the situation,” the German police said in a statement.
The couple explained that the desire was simply too great and that they had to wait a long time at the traffic light. They thought the traffic light might be broken.
However, no technical defect was the cause of the long waiting time. According to the police, the man drove the car “too far forward so that it showed a permanent ‘red'”.
The couple received a warning and a small fine for the wild crowds at the traffic lights. “It was the strangest mission I’ve ever had in my career,” one of the police officers told “Bild”. They knocked softly on the window and gave the couple time to get dressed. (jmh)
