Dolph Lundgren speaks publicly about his cancer for the first time

Actor Dolph Lundgren (65, “Rocky IV, “The Expendables”) spoke publicly about his cancer for the first time after doctors had already removed a tumor from his kidney in 2015, the native Swede said in the interview published Wednesday for the series “In Depth With Graham Bensinger” In 2020, even more tumors, including those in the liver, were diagnosed.

Sometimes the doctors gave him only two to three years to live. But thanks to new drugs, the tumors have largely shrunk in the past year and the prognosis is now significantly better, according to the action star.

Lundgren, who recently appeared on camera for movies like “Aquaman 2” and “The Expendables 4,” sums up that he considers himself very lucky to be alive. He has great people around him who would have helped him. Lundgren’s fiancé, 25-year-old Norwegian Emma Krokdal, also spoke in the interview. The actor has two adult daughters from his second marriage, which ended in divorce in 2011. (oee/sda/dpa)
