An Australian woman got lost in the forest and survived for five days on sweets and wine

A 48-year-old Australian woman lost her car in the forest in the state of Victoria, in the southeast of Australia, and survived for five days on sweets and wine, although she did not drink alcoholuntil she was rescued, police sources reported.

Victoria Police said in a statement that the woman, identified by the media as Lillian Ip, He was on his way to see his mother when his car got stuck in the mud in an area without cell phone coverage. and his relatives informed him of his disappearance on April 30.

Ip took a wrong turn while driving through the Mitta Mitta area and got stuck with only some lollipops, sweets and a bottle of wine that she was carrying to her mother. “I thought I would die there (…). I was just sitting there thinking, ‘What am I going to do? How am I going to survive?’”the woman told Channel 9, who even wrote a farewell letter to her relatives.
