Germany: Man tied up after “love game” and found with pants on his head in the woods

In the German town of Porta Westfalica, a cyclist made a curious discovery in the woods on Wednesday: when he followed calls for help from a distance, he found a 51-year-old man with women’s tights pulled over his head. The man lay on the floor and could hardly move – his arms and legs were tied.

The cyclist who rushed to the rescue immediately reported to the police, who were able to give the signal: the man was not injured and went into the woods himself. According to his own statements, the reason for his precarious situation was a “love game” with a woman he met on the Internet.

The man reported that the two went into the woods together, whereupon he voluntarily allowed herself to be tied up by her. But then the togetherness ended abruptly: according to the man, the woman received a call on her mobile phone, after which she left the forest in a hurry and without explanation. So the man was in a precarious situation: he had a cutting knife with him “for such cases”, but he could not reach it because of slavery.

The police launched a criminal investigation because of the initial suspicion of a lack of help or a possible deprivation of liberty. However, so far there is no help from the victim: the man did not want to provide information about the identity of the fugitive woman. (dab)
