“Dream Team”: Angelina Jolie is now teaming up with Halle Berry

Oscar winners Angelina Jolie (47, “Crazy”) and Halle Berry (56, “Monster’s Ball”) are making their first film together.

The Warner Bros. studio managed to win the two stars for the action comic “Maude v Maude”, as reported by the industry portal “Deadline.com”. New Zealand director Roseanne Liang (“Shadow in the Cloud”) wrote on Instagram on Wednesday that she loved being part of this “dream team”. You can’t imagine a “cooler” project in collaboration with these two actresses. Berry also raved in an Instagram story.

According to American media, Jolie and Berry are also on board as producers. According to “Deadline.com,” insiders describe the film as a spy thriller in the vein of series like “James Bond” and “Bourne.” Berry last starred in Roland Emmerich’s sci-fi adventure Moonfall. Jolie starred in the 2021 Marvel blockbuster Eternals as fighter Thena. (sda/dpa)
