Ex-Wagner mercenary admits to killing children in Ukraine

In some cases even comrades from their own ranks fell victim to this unscrupulous approach. Ex-commander Alexey S. admits in the video to executing up to 70 captured recruits who refused to follow orders on the battlefield.

In January this year, S. also threw more than two dozen grenades into a pit full of dead and wounded Ukrainians and Russians in Bakhmut. He then doused the remains of the approximately 60 corpses with gasoline and burned them.

S. was also forced to take the lives of minors. As he reports, he had to kill 10 youths and more than 20 unarmed Ukrainians on the orders of his superiors. He was also tasked with “cleaning” a residential building and shooting everyone inside.

Ukraine’s reaction to the published videos was not long in coming. Andriy Yermak (51), Chief of Staff of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky (45), wrote on social media: “A confession is not enough. There must be a fine. Tough and fair. And she certainly will be.”

On Telegram, Wagner boss Prigoshin denies the allegations. Through his spokespersons on Telegram, he explained that his soldiers do not execute civilians because it is unnecessary and counterproductive. “After all, we went there (to Ukraine) to save them from the regime they were subjected to,” Prigozhin said.
