Robles is meeting with Ukraine’s defense minister this Wednesday before sending the Leopard

Ukrainian Minister of Defense Oleksiy Reznikovwill hold a meeting with the Spanish head of this department this Wednesday, Daisy Roblesand with the commanders of the armed forces, to analyze the aid that Spain provided to Ukraine and the development of the war.

This meeting, after which both ministers will hold a press conference, will be held a few days before the delivery of six Leopard tanks by Spain to Ukraine, vehicles that belong to more than fifty such vehicles that have been scrapped in some military facilities in Casetas (Zaragoza) for a decade. For now, Spain will donate these six, but Four more are already conditional. However, Robles limited the shipment to ten tanks, since the already conditioned ones required between 2,500 and 3,400 hours of work each.

Reznikov will also visit the Gómez Ulla Military Defense Hospital in Madrid to pay tribute to its director and the director of the General Defense Hospital in Zaragoza as a thank you to Spain for the military and humanitarian aid it provides to Kyiv, which includes welcoming wounded Ukrainian soldiers.
