This photo is currently causing a lot of ridicule on the internet: a man is hiding on a roof, just a few centimeters above a police officer who is looking out of a roof hatch. The photo was taken in the British city of Liverpool during a raid on a hemp farm in February.
A suspect (32) fled and hid on the roof. Successfully. At first the Albanian could not be found without a permanent residence, the “BBC” reports. But eventually the police officers discovered the man on the roof. The 32-year-old was arrested and sentenced to two years and four months. Because: 200 hemp plants were secured during the raid.
The photo of the unsuspecting police officer is currently going viral. ‘He did it, didn’t he? Smart guy,” read a response on Twitter. Another scoffs: “We’ve looked everywhere, sergeant. He’s definitely not in the house.”
Police targeted the building based on a tip from a locksmith. When replacing the lock, he suspected that illegal cannabis cultivation was taking place in the house. (A)
