The Indian news agency ANI reported on Friday, based on local authorities, that the search for missing persons in the facility in the state of Madhya Pradesh continues. The floor of the Hindu temple in the city of Indore collapsed on Thursday. The victims fell into a deep pit structure. Many of the rescued have been taken to hospital with injuries, it said. In view of the Hindu festival of Ram Navami, the crowds in the temple were very large.

In India, dozens of people have been killed in infrastructure accidents in recent years. In such cases, there is always an investigation and compensation for the families of the victims. In this case, Madhya Pradesh Head of Government Shivraj Singh Chouhan announced that there would be Rs.500,000 each for the families of the dead and Rs.500,000 each for the injured.
