Mass shooting in Sumter, South Carolina: As several US media reports, a US veteran killed four people, including three children, late Tuesday night. In retrospect, the man († 42) judged for himself.
According to the authorities, the incident took place in a domestic environment. As reported by Fox News, citing a source familiar with the investigation, the shooter is believed to be the father of two of the murdered children.
Accordingly, he allegedly dropped the kids off at his ex-wife’s house before meeting his ex-wife’s boyfriend. He allegedly shot his ex-wife’s three children and boyfriend. As “ABC News” writes, citing the police, the children would have been 5, 6 and 11 years old.
