Obama is coming to Switzerland – but if you want to see him, you have to dig deep into your pockets

During his eight years in the White House, from 2009 to 2017, US President Barack Obama never made it to Switzerland. The political pensioner wants to do this now.

The organizer expansion.space announces three special evenings in Europe with the 61-year-old – also in Zurich. A statement read: “Each night will begin with a series of curated encounters and performances featuring extraordinary surprise guests. The speakers and performers will discuss topics such as creativity, corporate social responsibility, leadership and transformation through action to pave the way for a moderated conversation with President Obama.”

From 59 to 564 francs

In Zurich, Barack Obama will perform in the Hallenstadion on April 29. He then travels to Amsterdam (May 1) and Berlin (May 3) for further performances. Tickets are available from 59 CHF.

But it can also be more expensive. A so-called Gold Ticket costs 564 francs. There are seats directly in front of the stage, a welcome drink, dinner and a “pre-party”, a VIP pass with separate access to the red carpet. But if you want a face-to-face meeting with the Democrat, including a photo together, you have to dig even deeper into your pockets. A corresponding upgrade costs about 2,500 francs – on top of the tickets already purchased. However: Such an upgrade must be requested and will be processed by the Obama team itself.
