Couple finds rat in worried soup

Disgust alert for an American couple. After having soup delivered to their house on Saturday afternoon, they find not a hair in the soup but a dead rat. Now Jason and Eunice L. are suing the restaurant for that disgusting greeting from the kitchen.

The couple had been in the restaurant for ten years, writes the New York Post. Also on that Saturday afternoon, the anticipation of a Korean soup was high – until they discovered the giant rat.

After the disgusting discovery, they should have vomited immediately, the report continues. In addition, the doctor later discovered food poisoning. Since this incident, the couple has suffered from severe panic attacks. Eunice and Jason L. say they suffered “serious and lasting personal damage” from the incident. This experience has taken away their craving for ordered food for life.

Worst rating from the health department

The two Americans are suing their former favorite restaurant and contacting the local health department. An inspection earlier this year would have given the restaurant the worst possible rating. Several hygiene violations top the list, including food coming into contact with surfaces that have not been properly cleaned. A warning was even given to the restaurant.

Eunice L. shares her horror experience with her nearly 2,500 followers on Instagram. The American hopes that “the right people will be held accountable”. However, the restaurant denies the couple’s allegations. It doesn’t make sense that in their kitchen, with three or four cooks, a rat got into an order unnoticed.
