Incredible happiness for a married couple from Australia. Twice in a week it can celebrate winning the lottery. The reason for the mega profit is a dispute. The man would have forgotten to buy a lottery ticket a week earlier.
This caused a lot of inconvenience at home. As compensation, the man bought two identical lots a week later – and thus became a millionaire with his wife.
As usual, the woman checked her numbers on Tuesday morning, the Daily Mail reported. The Australian has crossed out number by number. As her husband reports, the woman couldn’t believe her eyes after the latest numbers and let out cries of joy.
The couple has always stayed true to their lottery numbers. “My wife played those songs for almost three decades. She always said they would be drawn one day,” the man said.
The freshly minted millionaire hardly calmed down when she learned about the second lot. “When we realized we had won a million dollars on the ticket, I thought maybe I should also tell her about the second identical ticket,” said the Australian. She never imagined that this ticket would also turn out to be a mega win. “My wife was stunned when she realized that this would double the profit,” says the man. “I can’t believe this happened to us.”
The couple especially wants to support the family with the millions. The first thing they want to do is buy their daughter a house and put something aside for the grandchildren’s future. “Once we’ve done that, we can spend what’s left.” The couple could imagine a trip through Australia – as an atonement for the forgotten fate.
