Brit collapses in supermarket with huge tumor

Mollie Mulheron (24) from Great Britain was on holiday in the Galapagos Islands. Suddenly something happened to her body, she reports on Instagram.

Almost every day she was dealing with immense pain and exhaustion. She went to several doctors. But they dismissed the complaints, saying Mulheron was just stressed out. She should rest. Mulheron did.

The symptoms kept getting worse. There was shortness of breath and a rash on the body. Despite numerous exams and x-rays, the 24-year-old was told that she was largely imagining the pain and that nothing unusual could be found.

Cancer in the fourth stage

In early February, Mulheron flew back to the UK. She was not well after the long flight. And finally she collapsed in a supermarket. She was taken to a hospital and X-rayed. Doctors found a tumor six inches above the young woman’s heart. Cancer in the fourth stage. Specifically: a non-Hodgkin lymphoma. This is cancer in the lymph tissue that has already spread to other organs.

A shock to Mulheron. “I just cried and screamed and screamed. It came out of nowhere, I knew something was wrong but I didn’t really mind,” she wrote on Instagram. The day of the diagnosis was the worst of her life.

“I’ve been fit all my life”

The chemotherapy she is receiving is causing the most severe pain she has ever had in her life. You feel like you could explode at any moment. Still, she remains positive and wants to beat the “bastard” in her. The whole thing feels so surreal. “I’ve been fit and healthy all my life, I’ve always been fine.” And suddenly all that changed and she is now battling cancer. The doctors are convinced that Mulheron will win the fight.

She shares her story with the public because she needs money. The cancer prevented her from working. The target of 6,000 pounds sterling, the equivalent of 6,600 francs, has long since been reached. More than € 7,000 has now been raised. (A)
