Is the “wrong Maddie” a missing girl from Switzerland since 2011? Climate activists give the Berlin Ministry of Transport a color shower

Julia Faustyna claimed to be Madeleine McCann, a British woman who disappeared years ago. But now rumors are circulating that the 21-year-old Pole could also be one of two Swiss twins who have been missing for 12 years.

On February 14, 2023, Julia Faustyna posted her alleged family tree on Instagram claiming to be Madeleine McCann, who disappeared in Portugal on March 3, 2007. She spoke of physical similarities and a “similar” birthmark. She also asked her parents for a DNA test. However, they always refused.

The search for her true identity was emotional from the start and was also marked by malicious reactions. That’s why Faustyna got help from a famous Instagramer: Fia Johansson.

So far so good.

But now Julia Faustyna claims she’s a missing girl again. This time it has to be a girl from Switzerland. Namely one of the twins Alessia and Livia Schepp. The two disappeared on January 30, 2011. They were six years old at the time and lived in Saint-Sulpice VD. After the twins’ father failed to return them to their mother after a weekend, there were concerns.

A few days later, the police find the lifeless body of the father in a small village in southern Italy. Along with a letter and a will.

Since then, there has been no trace of the two girls. In 2021, ten years after the case, Swiss authorities said they had not completely given up hope of finding Alessia and Livia Schepp alive.

Physical similarities give hope

When Internet users pointed out Julia and her similarities to the twins, the Schepp family became curious.

Now the American radio station “Radar” revealed that the Schepp family and Julia have come into contact with each other through Instagramer Johansson. “Precautions have been taken to allow a DNA test to be performed in a public place. Hopefully, the mystery can be solved this way,” says Johannson.

Since this new revelation, the foreign media have been captivated by the tragic story of the two Swiss women, which has also had numerous twists and turns over the past twelve years. (oo)
