“I want to have sex”

Words like “fuck” were used. And she allegedly told her employees several times that she wanted to have sex. The German EU politician Karolin Braunsberger-Reinhold (36) of the CDU is said to have involved an employee in sex talk for about an hour. This is stated in an EU report from Brussels.

On June 5 last year, Braunsberger-Reinhold visited a “wine mile” in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany, with her husband and the said employees, as “Bild” writes. 30 members of the Junge Union (JU) also traveled.

The politician had already drunk a lot of wine in the morning while walking. Around noon she also received two liqueur bottles and eventually she was “unable to walk straight” in the afternoon, according to the report.

Grabbed from behind on the chest

Around 5 p.m., there was a scandal at Rossbach station: When the train arrived for the return journey, Karolin Braunsberger-Reinhold grabbed the employee from behind on the chest and put her head on her shoulder – after hours of sex -conversations in which she said also that she was bisexual.

Both employees were shocked and confronted Braunsberger-Reinhold. They have also complained to the EU. An EU commission dealt with the incidents: they heard two witnesses, the victims and the CDU politician themselves.

But the whole thing has no consequences for the politician. As stated in the EU report’s conclusion, the commission weighed the “seriousness of the incidents” against the “seriousness of the consequences” on the life of the politician if “the sexual harassment” became public.

When asked by “Bild”, politician Karolin Braunsberger-Reinhold said that she had expressed her “deep regret” to the two employees the day after. (two)
