The Russian UN ambassador Wassili Nebensja (60) has accused Germany and the West in the conflict in Ukraine of similar motives as in World War II. “This is a war involving, as was the case 80 years ago, an insidious and powerful enemy who wants to take over our country and subdue us,” Nebensia said at a special session of the UN General Assembly on Wednesday. the anniversary of the Russian invasion of the neighboring country.

The West wants to see the end of Russia. “The aim now is to arm Ukraine and thereby inflict a strategic defeat on my country, dismember and destroy it,” he added. “The German tanks will kill Russians again.”

A year after the outbreak of war, the largest UN body will pass a resolution on Thursday calling for peace and Moscow’s withdrawal. Dozens of speeches from senior speakers are expected. (SDA/Nice)
