The missile could travel about 14,000 kilometers, enough to reach any part of the country except South America.

North Korean media announced today that the intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) launched by the regime on Saturday Hwasong-15, the missile with the second longest potential range from his arsenal, which he already tried for the first time in 2017, according to Efe.

The North Korean army carried out “sudden launch” of missiles, which shot at a very pronounced angle, according to the KCNA agency.

The main missile division was in charge of launching the missile from Pyongyang’s Sunan International Airport, the state news agency’s text explains.

The trial, which took place on Saturday around 17:22 local time, was “organized suddenly without prior notice” based on “emergency order issued early in the morning of February 18”according to Eph.

According to KCNA, the missile traveled 989 kilometers in 4015 seconds (1 hour and six minutes) and reached an apogee of 5,768.5 kilometers, data that is in accordance with what was announced in detail on Saturday by the South Korean and Japanese armies.

Japanese Defense Minister Yasukazu Hamada said on Saturday that, launched on a normal trajectory, the missile could travel about 14,000 kilometers, enough to reach any part of the country except South America.

North Korea has only tested the Hwasong-15 once so far; It was in November 2017 in the midst of escalating verbal threats between Pyongyang and then US President Donald Trump.

This is claimed by a text published today by the North Korean news agency “military threats” from South Korea and the US “They become serious, to the point where they cannot be ignored.”

On Friday, Pyongyang threatened an “unprecedented” response to the annual spring military maneuvers that Seoul and Washington have begun finalizing for March and which the regime described as “preparations for a war of aggression,” Efe reported.

In addition, next week the South Korean and US military will conduct a drill at the Pentagon simulating a regime nuclear attack.

In another statement also published today by KCNA, signed by the sister of North Korean leader Kim Yo-jong, she assures that Pyongyang will activate a “very strong and overwhelming” response to any hostile act by alliesaccording to Eph.

Kim Jong-un’s sister states in the text that the US “should stop all its actions that pose a threat to our national security and stop tarnishing the dignity of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (the official name of the country) always thinking of its own security in the future.”

North Korea launched a record number of missile launches last year, about fifty, in many cases in response to joint maneuvers by allies and the deployment of US strategic assets on the peninsula.

South Korea and the US respond with B-1 bomber maneuvers

South Korean and US militaries responded this Sunday to the North’s long-range missile launch on Saturday with aerial maneuvers in which more than strategic bomber Pentagon B-1as reported by the South Korean Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS).

The statement sent by the JCS did not specify the exact number of B-1s, but in any case, with this action, the allies want to give a resolute response to Pyongyang, since often Washington usually deploys only one bomber of this type to the peninsula. when he intends to issue a warning to the Kim Jong-un regime, according to Efe.

In 2017, in Full escalation of tensions between North Korea and the former US president. Donald Trump, the Pentagon sent two planes, just as it did in early November last year after Pyongyang fired more than 30 missiles in three days.
