Now it is clear: President Biden wants to know again in 2024 quadruple murderer execution in US

Joe Biden is still hesitant to pursue a second term as US president. His State of the Union speech on Tuesday sounded like the starting gun for the election campaign.

At 80 years old, Joe Biden is the oldest American president in history. He can’t hide that. Time and time again, the Democrat sometimes affords embarrassing dropouts. However, on Tuesday night at prime time, Biden was at his best. For over 70 minutes, he delivered a brilliant and focused State of the Union address at the Capitol.

Highlights of Biden’s speech

Afterwards, many observers agreed: the speech was an unofficial start to Biden’s election campaign for a second term in the White House. The president has not yet revealed his plans, partly because the affair over classified documents found in a Washington office and in his private home got in the way.

As of Tuesday at the latest, however, it’s clear that Biden wants to run again regardless of concerns about his age, even though a majority of Democrats reject a renewed candidacy, according to polls. But Joseph Robinette Biden worked too long towards his big goal of leaving the White House after four years.

Twelve million new jobs

This was evident from the content of his speech. He addressed the foreign policy crises – China, Ukraine – rather casually. Biden devoted himself extensively to domestic and economic policy. Twelve million jobs were created in his first two years in office. Unemployment is at its lowest level since the economic boom of the 1960s.

He also discussed the big achievements: the nearly two trillion dollar Corona aid package, the program to restore ailing US infrastructure or the comprehensive industrial, climate and social law called the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA). It has been a long time since an American president has accomplished so much in such a short time.

population is dissatisfied

However, this message did not reach the general public. According to a recent survey by the Washington Post and ABC News, a whopping 62 percent of Americans believe that Joe Biden has barely gotten anything done during his tenure to date. This finding is in stark contrast to the reality in Washington.

The explanation is provided by another finding of the study. Accordingly, 41 percent said their financial situation had worsened. That’s the highest number since 1986, when the question was first asked. This is due to high inflation and especially the price of gasoline, which has a major influence on the general political climate in the US.

Only Trump was less popular

Biden stressed on Tuesday that inflation has been falling lately and gasoline prices have fallen. So far, this has had little impact on its popularity. In the ABC and Washington Post poll, he received just 42 percent approval, the worst value of the last 13 U.S. presidents, excluding Donald Trump.

The conditions for re-election are not ideal, which is why President Biden never misses an opportunity to be present when a project is tackled with money from the infrastructure program. He adorns his economic policy with protectionist slogans, in the style of Donald Trump’s ‘America first’.

Interjections from Republicans

In his speech, he called on Republicans to cooperate. At the same time, he seemed to enjoy the repeated harassment and hostility of hardliners like Marjorie Taylor Greene. He accused Republicans of wanting to cut popular social programs in exchange for raising the debt ceiling.

This refers to social security – the American AHV – and the senior health insurance fund Medicare. Even ex-President Trump had warned his party against cuts in these areas. After all, the elderly are also particularly loyal voters in the US. Every future president depends on his votes.

Trump as the greatest asset

Donald Trump is Biden’s greatest asset. The Republican announced his re-election in November after his party’s disappointing performance in the congressional elections. The flight forward has so far had little effect. Enthusiasm for a Trump candidate is manageable, his polls are dropping.

A lot of big Republican donors want to get rid of him. Next week, Nikki Haley, Trump’s former ambassador to the United Nations, is expected to announce her candidacy and be the first challenger to come out of cover. And yet those familiar with American politics are convinced that Donald Trump will ultimately prevail again.

“We’re Just Getting Started”

Many Americans fear a “rematch” between Biden and Trump – and not just them. For the incumbent, however, this prospect is an added incentive to get back to business. Because his chances of success against Trump would be more than intact. Lately, there are increasing indications that he will express himself soon.

When Ron Klain recently stepped down as Joe Biden’s chief of staff, he “cheated” during his farewell speech at the White House: “I look forward to being by your side as you run for president in 2024.” Klain has been a close confidant of Biden for decades and he is likely to make a “comeback” soon, possibly as head of his campaign team.

A few days before the “State of the Union” meeting of the Democratic Party in Philadelphia, the president himself had made it clear that he was far from the end of his path: “We’re just getting started,” said he. shouted to a cheering fan base. She replied accordingly: “Four more years!”
