Limp Bizkit: Russian Photos Arouse Outrage Swiss Part Discovered In A Kamikaze Drone – “Shahed” Is Full Of Western Tech

Many musicians and artists avoid political statements. They’re afraid they’re going to mess with their fans otherwise. Very different Limp Bizkit. The nu metal band from Jacksonville, Florida has had a lot of success in its history. The group around frontman Fred Durst has sold more than 50 million records, including 40 million albums. In March, the musicians will tour Europe.

However, now Limp Bizkit is being criticized. The reason for this is the band’s political statements. Fans are furious about it. No wonder they finally positioned themselves on one of the biggest political conflicts of current affairs. Limp Bizkit, at least in the past, has held an opinion that doesn’t seem to be well received.

Limp Bizkit positioned himself with posters: “Crimea is Russia”

Photos of performances are circulating on social media, showing how the band members hold up controversial posters: ‘Crimea is Russia’, for example, it says. An explosive statement on the history of Crimea: Russia annexed the Ukrainian peninsula in the spring of 2014 after an armed invasion by the armed forces. According to Russia, Crimea has been part of the Russian Federation since March 18, 2014.

A forced measure that was against international law from a Western point of view. Internationally, the peninsula is therefore still considered a territorial entity of Ukraine.

Old photos circulate on social media – igniting Shitnorm

Since Russia invaded Ukraine in February 2022, war has been raging in the country. This brings the conflicts between the Federation of Putin and Ukraine back into the picture. The band’s controversial photos resurfaced on social media. They were probably made in 2015.

One user posted the photos and wrote, “If you didn’t know: The band Limp Bizkit has been actively supporting Russia in the war against Ukraine since 2014. Limp Bizkit often performed illegally in occupied Crimea and put up posters at concerts.”

That apparently does not go down well. Countless users are stunned under the post. Some say that’s why they left the band. A user writes under the tweet that he will remove all tracks from the band. Another commented, “I loved her too and had all her albums but destroyed them all.”

Explosive history: frontman Fred Durst was not allowed to enter the country

It’s not the first time the band has faced repercussions due to their proximity to Russia. In 2015, Ukraine frontman Fred Durst even imposed a five-year travel ban. The reason: he posed a “security threat” to Ukraine.

In November 2015, Durst allegedly held up the sign with the controversial inscription at a concert in the Russian city of Voronezh.
