After months of dodging Kiev’s demands for tanks, Western allies have finally agreed to equip the attacked country with new armored fighting vehicles.
Canada has been supplying tanks in recent weeks, France has also agreed – and even the US seems to be thinking about a tank delivery. An overview.

Super Bison – the mud monster
The first images of Canadian superbison appeared in Ukraine shortly before New Year’s Eve, according to the Ukrainian military. The special thing about it: The armored cars are new, they were ordered for the Canadian army, but then sent on to the Ukraine. A total of 39 pieces are used in the fight against Russia.
“Image” describes the huge vehicle as a “mud monster”. A fitting term, the vehicle gets along well even on the dirtiest terrain. It weighs twelve tons, can accelerate up to 100 kilometers per hour and can accommodate ten people. This gives Ukraine a great advantage as it can transport many soldiers with few vehicles.

AMX-10 RC – the tank killer
AMX-10 RC armored vehicles will be delivered to Ukraine from France, government sources say. It is not yet known when and how many of these “tank killers”, as they are also called, will reach Ukraine.
While French officials speak of “tanks”, the amphibious vehicle is not one at all – but an armored vehicle. It has a powerful cannon that can penetrate both armor and buildings.

Bradley Fighting Vehicle – the agile one
The US is considering sending Bradley combat vehicles to Ukraine, 80-year-old President Joe Biden confirmed to reporters. The US has thousands of Bradleys that would give Ukraine more firepower on the battlefield and bolster its trench warfare capabilities.
The Bradley is a medium armored fighting vehicle that can also be used as a troop transporter. It has no wheels but tracks, but is lighter and more manoeuvrable than a tank. It can hold about ten people.
