She led a life many dream of. Many friends, a great career, a partner with whom she is expecting a child – but Alexandra R. (39) has been missing for more than a week. The Nuremberg case raises questions.
R. went to pick up her two-year-old adopted daughter from the nursery on Friday. As the “image” writes, she never arrived. Her partner reported her missing later that night. Now the detective is looking for a special commission for the eight-month pregnant woman. For the police, everything points to a violent crime.
“It is anything but an ordinary missing person case,” says Chief Inspector Michael Konrad (43) against the photo. And: “We find it suspicious that a woman with a social environment is gone from one moment to the next and has no contact with family.” No one around her has heard anything from R. since she went to daycare.
She left everything
She also left all the documents. Her wallet, her maternity card and ID. So far, there is no evidence that she went into hiding of her own accord. R. has had a successful career: she runs a Postbank branch and was currently on maternity leave.
Both the search with sniffer dogs and the location of the mobile phone have so far yielded nothing. An accident could not be ruled out at first. However, the police now seem increasingly unlikely. The search continues, but the traces are missing. “We currently have no urgent suspects,” Konrad admits.
“There were often quarrels with the ex”
People in the area react with shock to R’s disappearance. “It’s all a mystery,” a neighbor tells “Bild”. Another friend has a suspicion. “There were often arguments with the ex,” said the neighbor. They had spoken on the Thursday before R’s disappearance. And further: “She seemed completely normal. I am very worried and hope it turns out well.” (jwg)
