Investigators in Brandenburg and other states conducted searches on Tuesday at several members of the “last generation”. A spokesman for Neuruppin’s prosecutor’s office told AFP news agency they were accused of forming or supporting a “criminal organisation”. Eleven buildings were affected.
The measure was based on protests in April at the PCK Schwedt oil refinery. There, among other things, sliders were closed. There were no arrests. It will be determined because of the charge of disruption of public services.
Laptops and mobile phones have been seized
Last Generation spokeswoman Carla Hinrichs confirmed the operation Tuesday. “My apartment was searched this morning,” she wrote on Twitter. “It’s scary when the police search your closet,” she adds. “But do you really think we’re going to stop now?”
According to the organization, laptops, mobile phones and posters have been seized. (AFP/no)
