After Corona delay: Adele starts concert series in Las Vegas After Corona delay: Adele starts concert series in Las Vegas

British singer Adele kicked off her concert series in Las Vegas on Friday evening (local time) with a sold-out opening show. Following the opening performance of her mega-hit “Hello,” the 34-year-old led through a selection of songs old and new, including “Easy On Me” from her current album “30” and “Skyfall” from the James Bond movie of the same name .

Right at the start of their performance, there was a standing ovation from the audience, reports the British newspaper “The Guardian”. “I’m so nervous and scared and happy,” Adele told her fans. “My nerves are going crazy… It’s been a great week for me.”

Under the title “Weekends With Adele”, the musician wants to give 32 concerts by March at the famous Caesars Palace Hotel in the casino city. Due to the corona pandemic and delivery problems, the start, which was actually planned for January, was postponed. In July, Adele announced the new dates.
