Does Trump man and ex-football star Herschel Walker (60) want to attract attention at all costs? The Republican running for Senate in Georgia is now giving horror movie-inspired speeches.
In a campaign speech on Wednesday, he told his supporters, “I don’t want to be a vampire anymore. I want to be a werewolf.” The statement went viral on social media. He tells his fans that he recently saw a movie late at night.
“Vampires are cool people”
Titled them “Fright Night, Freak Night, or something like that”. Then he says, “I don’t know if you know, but vampires are cool people, aren’t they? But let me tell you something I found: a werewolf can kill a vampire. Did you know? I didn’t know.”
He makes it clear: “Well, I don’t want to be a vampire anymore. I want to be a werewolf.” He alludes to his opponent, Democratic priest Raphael Warnock (53), with the confused statements. He is a sitting senator from Georgia. Walker wants to defeat the man.
It’s another bizarre comment that joins numerous controversial statements by the former soccer star. Walker receives support from Donald Trump (76). Officially, Walker is campaigning with an anti-abortion program, but he allegedly pressured two women to have an abortion.
Second election on December 6
Walker has made questionable claims about climate science, and has also been revealed to have made false claims about his business career, according to the Guardian.
Georgia is a special case in senate elections. Raphael Warnock was ahead of Walker last week, but received no more than 50 percent of the vote. Under state law, a second round must be held on Dec. 6.
But control of the Senate has already been decided. The Democrats won the majority, the race in Georgia will not change that. (EU)
