Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni has resisted criticism for taking her daughter to the G20 summit on the Indonesian island of Bali. After two days of “tireless work” she starts with one “incredible debate” Faced with the question of whether it was right to take her daughter with her during the four days she was away, the far-right politician wrote on Facebook on Wednesday.
Some media outlets have reported since Tuesday that Meloni traveled to the top with the six-year-old and a babysitter. So she had her daughter with her, but there wasn’t much time with her other than eating together, some reports said. “Do you think it’s any of your business how I raise my daughter?”, asked Meloni in her contribution to the ‘initiators’ of the debate. She has the right to do everything for the nation without depriving her daughter of her mother, explained the 45-year-old party leader of the far-right Fratelli d’Italia.
