In Ostbevern (D) in the Münsterland in North Rhine-Westphalia, a girl (13) was found unconscious and with her hands tied in a wooded area on Tuesday morning.
Witnesses first noticed a bicycle and a backpack on the side of the road and found the girl in the woods in the scattered settlement a short time later, police in Münster said. They immediately alerted rescuers and the police.
The girl was taken to a hospital. According to the information, the weather was aware and responsive. Initially, the 13-year-old gave no information about a possible crime. The backgrounds were therefore initially a mystery. “We are still at the beginning of the investigation,” said a police spokeswoman in the district town of Warendorf.
There was therefore no report of the student missing and there was no question of a sexual offence. On the spot, the detectives searched with a sniffer dog and hundreds of police officers for possible clues. (AFP)
