Federal President Ignazio Cassis meets French President Emmanuel Macron. Cassis will be in Paris for two days at the end of the week. He wants to talk to Macron about bilateral relations, but also about the war in Ukraine and Switzerland’s relationship with the EU.
The visit is an opportunity for Cassis and his counterpart to deepen the talks that began at the first meeting of the European Political Community on October 6 in Prague, the Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs (FDFA) wrote on Tuesday. The emphasis is on Switzerland’s relations with France.
Cassis travels to Paris for an official visit and will attend the fifth Paris Peace Forum. At the invitation of Macron, Cassis will also participate in a dinner organized for the leaders represented at the Peace Forum.
