London dismisses Russian charges of Nord Stream explosions (as lies) 38 years innocent in prison – Maurice Hastings is now free again

Britain has denied Russian allegations that the British navy was responsible for the explosions on the Nord Stream 1 and 2 gas pipelines in the Baltic Sea.

The Russian Defense Ministry had previously accused British troops of escorting Ukrainian units in drone strikes on Russia’s Black Sea fleet. “According to the information available, representatives of the same British naval unit were involved in planning, supplying and carrying out the terrorist attack in the Baltic Sea to blow up the Nord Stream 1 and Nord Stream 2 gas pipelines,” the ministry claimed.

“It’s an outright lie and we all know it was the Russians,” former Royal Navy admiral Chris Parry told Sky News. “Russian propaganda always blames everyone else for what they have done themselves.” The British navy does not have the ability to blow up the gas pipelines.

In late September, after explosions near the Baltic Sea island of Bornholm, four leaks were discovered in the pipelines, each of which runs as a double strand between Russia and Lubmin in northeastern Germany. The EU and NATO, among others, assume sabotage.

According to Russian reports, a Black Sea fleet warship was hit in Sevastopol during the drone strikes on the Russian-annexed Crimean peninsula. The minesweeper “Iwan Golubez” and facilities in a bay were slightly damaged.
