Three years ago the secret took place: the wedding of conjoined twins Abby and Brittany to Josh Bowling.

They are the most famous conjoined twins in the world, the Americans Abigail “Abby” and Brittany Hensel. They have two hearts and two spines, but only one body. From the waist down, they share all organs – including the intestines, bladder and sexual organs.

Abby controls the right arm, Brittany controls the left arm. On March 7, they celebrated their 34th anniversary. It has only now become known: the oldest conjoined twin couple in the world married secretly in 2021.

US Army veteran Josh Bowling (33) officially married Abby. This is evident from official documents that the American portal Today first reported on Wednesday. Today, the two married couples – or all three – live happily together. Brittany, the former nurse’s sister-in-law, is always there.

The desire to have children with a big question mark

A video is now circulating on social media showing the twins together in their wedding dresses and the groom doing the wedding dance. At one point Bowling seems unsure which of the two to kiss next.

Abby and Brittany are one of the few conjoined twins in the world to survive infancy. In a 2003 interview, the mother of two said her daughters would like to have children one day. “It could probably work because they have the organs,” Patty Hensel mused. The daughters were just teenagers at the time and “didn’t want to talk about how it was going to work.”

What would be biologically possible would present Abby and Brittany with a legal problem: who would be the child’s real mother. There’s no sign of pregnancy yet — at least not in the three Tiktok videos Abby and Brittany posted after their wedding news leaked.

Message to haters

The two mock the hate messages circulating on social media about their wedding. A video shows a photo of the three along with a voice caption that reads: “This is a message to all the haters out there. If you don’t like what I do, but you watch everything I do, you’re still a fan.”
