Tragedy in Baden-Württemberg in Germany. On Tuesday evening, a 19-year-old allegedly attacked his parents and brothers and sisters with a stabbing weapon in an apartment building. The parents, aged 58 and 61, died at the scene. A brother (†34) later died in hospital despite resuscitation measures.
The man’s sister was seriously injured, the police and the Public Prosecution Service said on Wednesday. She was flown to a clinic in a rescue helicopter, but her life is out of danger.
The suspect, who has dual German and Italian nationality, was arrested on the spot. The presumption of innocence applies until a final conviction has been pronounced. (mom)
