The US is about to land on the moon for the first time in more than 50 years. Pakistan is about to form a government with Sharif as prime minister

An American moon landing will take place on Thursday for the first time in more than 50 years. A week after launch, the lunar lander ‘Odysseus’ from US private company Intuitive Machines is expected to land on Earth’s satellite.

An impact crater approximately 300 kilometers from the South Pole was chosen as the landing site; landing is expected to take place at exactly 11:49 PM (CET).

“Odysseus” was launched into space on February 15 aboard a SpaceX launch vehicle from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida. If the mission, called IM-1, is successful, it would be the first American moon landing since the end of the Apollo program more than 50 years ago. So far, only the US, the Soviet Union, China, India and Japan have managed to land on the moon. A private company has never succeeded in such an undertaking.
