Mobile phone secured with adhesive tape: Stewardess films 14-year-old in on-board toilet

A 14-year-old girl flies from Charlotte to Boston in the US. When she gets up to go to the toilet, they are all occupied. Then her flight attendant Estes C.* (37) arrives and says that the toilets in first class are currently free and accompanies her to the cabins.

When he gets there, he acts suspiciously: he tells the girl that he needs to wash his hands quickly and tells her that the toilet seat is broken. When the girl enters the cabin after him, she sees red tape on the underside of the toilet lid. What can also be seen: Estes C.’s mobile phone, which he has hidden underneath – and is currently filming her.

The man has been in custody since the flight on September 2 last year. According to the AP news agency, more hidden recordings of four underage passengers using the toilet during the flight were found on his mobile phone. The children filmed in the footage were seven, nine, eleven and fourteen years old.

American Airlines fired the man immediately after his arrest. He now faces a long prison sentence. In the US alone, possession of child pornography carries a minimum prison sentence of five years. For another charge, sexual exploitation of children, he could face up to 30 years in prison. (neo)
