“I’m still shaking”: Influencer discovers husband in old selfie

Many people can still remember the moment they met their true love. Influencer Jenn Chia (32) also thinks the same. However, while looking through old photos, the Malaysian made an incredible discovery: she was in the same room as her current husband two years before they officially met.

“I’m still shaking,” the influencer tells her 580,000 followers. The 32-year-old shows a selfie from 2012. She is sitting in a busy cafe. Behind her stands a man in a black T-shirt. But it’s not just any passerby, but Chia’s current husband, John Liddell (33). “We were in the same place without knowing we existed,” Chia wrote in the post.

“Invisible bond between your souls”

They didn’t officially meet until two years later. Nine years after the selfie, they finally got married. Some of the influencer’s followers said this is fate. Someone wrote: “I should probably look at the background of all my photos. Maybe I will discover my future husband there.” Another user opines: “There was an invisible bond between your souls for years.”

And Chia’s husband also commented on the photo. He says, “I’m so glad you didn’t already know me in the first photo. We were on our own journey and met at the perfect time. (a)
