Only recently, Charles’ daughter-in-law, Princess Kate, had announced that she would be in hospital for some time after abdominal surgery and would not be able to keep appointments for months. The 42-year-old will now spend 10 to 14 days in the clinic before continuing his recovery at home. She will probably not appear in public again until after Easter at the earliest.
