Putin thinks he knows why many Russian emigrants supposedly return.

Not everyone supports the war in Ukraine and the harsh regime that rules under President Vladimir Putin (71). But apparently more and more Russians are returning to their homeland. At least that’s what Putin himself claims.

And he also wants to know why that is the case. Unisex toilets would deter Russian emigrants. “Unisex toilets have become an everyday, ordinary phenomenon,” Putin said on Tuesday during the community forum “Small Motherland – the strength of Russia.”

Putin rejected Ukraine’s peace formula on Tuesday and called on Kiev to make territorial concessions.

Putin said no one can force Russia to give up the territories it has conquered so far. “Everyone understands that this is not possible.” The Kremlin chief again described the Ukrainian counter-offensive to regain territory as a failure. (jmh/SDA)
