A lucky Norwegian won 120 million euros in the lottery on Tuesday.

The jackpot of 120 million euros has been won – and goes to Norway. Westlotto in Münster announced this on Tuesday evening. On a card in Norway, all seven digits were correct. This means that 120 million euros will go to the Scandinavian country.

The winner in prize category one correctly guessed the winning numbers 6, 19, 32, 39 and 42 and the Euro numbers 4 and 9. In the second prize category, nine participants managed to win almost 2.4 million euros. Two of these winners come from Baden-Württemberg, one from Lower Saxony, three from North Rhine-Westphalia, one from Thuringia and one from Slovenia and Denmark.

On Tuesday, the jackpot had increased from ten to 120 million euros in seventeen draws. This has only happened once in the history of this lottery: from September to November 2022, 17 draws were needed before the Eurojackpot could be won. (AFP)
